It started with mahjong.Then we started lookingat the room.Then we started looking at the room.
We’re sisters. Stacy has spent her career in interior design, and Nathalie comes from marketing and tech. We love playing mahjong together, and after a while we started looking at the room as much as the game.

We’re Nathalie + Stacy
Stacy has spent her career designing beautiful, personal spaces through her interior design business.
Nathalie comes from marketing and tech — shaping brands, creating experiences, and helping people feel connected to the things they love.
We also happen to love playing mahjong together.
Somewhere along the way, friends started asking Stacy to help design rooms around their mahjong tables. Not just where to put the table — the whole room.
And that got us thinking.
What if the mahjong room could be the fun room? The one with the wallpaper you’ve always wanted, the chandelier, the chair everyone asks about, and the dogs under the table while everyone stays for one more game.
Stacy brought the design eye. Nathalie brought the brand and digital side.
Villa Mahj grew from there.
Our design philosophy
For me, the table sets the whole mood.
The table sets the tone.
It should feel like you — your personality, your style, your favorite mahjong set, your idea of a perfect night with friends.
And here’s the fun part: it doesn’t have to match the rest of your house.
Make it pink. Make it moody. Add the chandelier. Choose the wallpaper you’ve been afraid to use anywhere else.
Basically, the she-shed grew up, got great lighting, poured a glass of wine, and learned mahjong.
